You ask at the top of this review not to mention the room rate but surely you must appreciate that the rate is the most important aspect of any hotel stay.
I would recommend this hotel but I would have let them know the rates you charge and in most cases that would put them off.

The breakfast, closeness to a local pub, quietness, but most of all that they accept dogs..
Even the executive rooms are rather small as are the T.V's.

Staff were friendly and helpful
the £2 breakfast supplement for haddock and poached egg ....... I have stayed in many good quality hotels but never paid a supplement for this choice and would add this was also the smallest portion of haddock I have ever been served for breakfast.
