The room felt smaller than expected, which could be a squeeze for larger families. There’s a significant parking limitation, as spaces fill quickly. arriving later might leave you scrambling for a spot. The surrounding area doesn't always feel safe at night, which damped the experience a bit.

i almost thought about giving a good review, but the rooms were basic without even a pillow choice, how quaint! the staff, oh the staff, seemed to lack any warmth. i expected at least a welcome gift for my troubles. dining options? nonexistent. overpriced and underwhelming—what a surprise!

Perfect riverside retreat

I enjoyed a one-night stay in a superior double room with a lovely view of the Loire River. The walk along the river to the city's heart is a treat, taking only about 15 minutes. Breakfast was varied, with cooked options that included scrambled eggs and sausage, although the buffet could use better organization, as we had to wait for refills. The free parking was a big plus, making it easy to explore without worrying about finding a spot.
