Perfect for train travelers

The room was huge, comfortable with many windows on two sides. We were upgraded to the Admunsen room and the views were stunning with the train station right in front, made our time here all the more convenient.

I have to say it isn’t exactly inexpensive for what we got, but still,, it was worth it.

Breakfast was fantastic with high quality food.

The breakfast was excellent, featuring a wide selection of freshly baked pastries, organic juices, and hot items that fueled my busy workday. The room was well-organized, offering a modern touch with added comforts, and the staff was incredibly hospitable, efficiently assisting with my requests.

The air conditioning was somewhat inefficient.

This cozy hotel features beautiful art throughout and is just less than a 5-minute walk to the vibrant fish market and the historic bergen cathedral, making it easy to immerse yourself in the local culture while enjoying leisurely walks in the area. the staff were super helpful and the breakfast buffet offered an impressive selection.

the shower temperature control was tricky.

Classy dining options nearby, like Ma Ma Thai and Teras Restaurant, made my evenings memorable! The Superior King Room was definitely a treat, and I felt like royalty with the space and charm. I also loved the early check-in courtesy of the helpful staff!

However, the windows in the hotel were quite old, letting in some chilly drafts. Good thing the underfloor heating in the bathroom kept me cozy enough to ignore it!

Our trip was made special by the attentive staff. Veira anticipated our needs and even opened the serene garden for us to relax. The breakfast spread was simply outstanding, featuring rich Norwegian flavors. Pro tip, try the goat cheese! Also, the train station across the street was super convenient.

Excellent location, excellent breakfast buffet, perfect for exploring the city and enjoying a satisfying meal to start the day.

Everything was superb.

I stayed in an Economy Double Room and loved the cozy vibe of it. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The bathroom had a modern design, which was a nice touch. Only downside was that it felt a bit small, but everything else was on point.
