Recommend it for couples seeking a rustic escape
The bed was surprisingly comfy, rustic look but felt fresh and new! Also, the food at the restaurant was pretty good, something I'd expect from a palace hotel, but still a bit inconsistent with the quality.
It wasn't exactly cheap,, but worth it for a weekend getaway.

It was just an ideal choice for a quick break in Lillafured with value for money. The bowling alley was a fun surprise. Try to visit the wellness area early to enjoy the water warmer.

missingWrote a review on Sept 28exceptional spa servicesdisappointing foodcramped spa
The wellness center offers exceptional spa services.
My stay was tainted by the disappointing food quality during dinner, which fell short despite the appealing breakfast selection. The room configuration was puzzling, as the double bed consisted of two beds pushed together, leading to an uncomfortable sleep experience. Additionally, the indoor spa area felt cramped, and the sauna was notably small, which diminished the relaxation factor I was hoping for.

My best decision yet!
Our stay was nothing short of magical! Surrounded by scenic parkland with a stunning waterfall, we loved swimming every morning, hiking beautiful trails, and sipping local wine. The staff was friendly, and our room was immaculate. Exceptional buffets featured great variety, but it would have been nice to see more traditional Hungarian dishes. Truly a delightful escape!

Spent a lovely night at Palota. The breakfast and dinner buffets were quite good with many selections, and the hot chocolate drink selections in the lobby bar were amazing. The extensive spa and pools provided heavenly relaxation. Additionally, the surrounding location was ideal for hiking, as we enjoyed a beautiful 4-mile trek without encountering other hikers.
The lack of elevators caused some inconvenience.

I had a lovely stay with an amazing sauna ceremony experience! The wellness area was well equipped, but the dining was quite disappointing, with tasteless food options.

The Deluxe Double Room with Two Double Beds was super spacious and had a rustic charm, but the shower pressure could definitely be better. The views from the room were stunning, overlooking the lake and gardens. I loved the cozy vibe of the room, which made us feel right at home while we enjoyed our stay.
