Plantation Island Resort offers numerous activities, perfect for families. The kids' club is engaging, with a cool water park and playgrounds that kept my children entertained. The beachfront location is stunning, with lots of water sports options available. The staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We also loved the Black Coral Restaurant. the food was delicious, and dining there was a highlight every night. The pools are inviting, and the serenity of the beach is hard to beat. However, there were some annoyances. Our air conditioning didn’t work properly, which made the nights uncomfortable. The communication regarding amenities and bookings wasn’t smooth. I had requested almond milk multiple times but kept receiving regular milk instead. Bikes for getting around the resort were overpriced and in poor condition. One of the biggest letdowns was the buffet breakfast, which felt underwhelming for the price. Also, the kids club activities could engage kids better, as my kids found some of them uninteresting. These small issues aside, the overall experience was enjoyable, but improvements in communication and facility maintenance would make this place exceptional.

Paradise for Families with Unmatched Experiences!
We had a fantastic 3-night stay! The beachfront hotel room offered stunning views. The new a la carte restaurant provided a variety of delicious options, saving us a lot compared to the buffet. Don’t miss the local supermarket for snacks to take excursions!

Amazing Family Getaway!
The ocean view studio was super spacious and comfy. My kids loved all the activities, especially the coconut boat building! Food at the Ol Copra Shed was delish, but the beachside chairs could use more shade during the day. Totally worth it!

It was just a proper fit for a cursory stop in Malolo Lailai with decent value for money. The kids loved running around with the man who lights the torches in the evening. Make sure to book dining well in advance to avoid missing out.

We absolutely loved exploring the beautiful island with biking, enjoying the flat landscape and sandy paths. The kids loved the designated kids buffet, which made mealtime fun and easy. It was enjoyable to spend quality time with family and friends in such a gorgeous place.
My children wanted more shaded seating by the pool for afternoon naps.

Staying in a beachfront bure provided direct access to stunning clear waters, creating a perfect family vibe. Snack options are a big plus—kids loved the free buffet and the delicious croissants at breakfast. However, there were some serious concerns, including a lack of information about activities and the need for better pool safety, as well as cleanliness issues in the kids club. The dining experience also fell short with limited variety, especially in the buffet offerings.

A hidden gem for families
Our family discovered paradise! The children adored the vibrant Kids Club, and we relished quality time by the stunning beachfront, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun.
However, we faced frustrating delays at mealtimes, and some restaurant bookings were difficult due to popularity. It marred an otherwise perfect vacation.
